Advent Questions to ponder:

Week 1.

Hope s not about what we can see but about who God is. Where did you find hope today?
What keeps you frmo feeling hopeful?
What gives you reason for hope?
How can you shine hope into another person's life today?

Week 2

What silence might God be asking you ..us…to keep?
What listening might need to happen before speaking?
What disruption might actually be the beginning of true peace?
And, after the silence, what are the words of peace that you are called to speak?

Week 3

When was the last time you felt truly, deeply joyful? What made that moment different?
What are you holding onto that might be holding you back?
Where in your life do you feel most authentic, most real?
What could you share with someone who needs it more? Maybe it's that extra coat John talked about, or maybe it's something else gathering dust that could bring someone else joy – like that book you already read and loved.
What one small act of honesty can you practice today - not the brutal kind, but the freeing kind. "I need help." "I miss you." "I'm sorry"?

Week 4 -

Here, at the threshold of yet another Christmas, the question is not whether God will act. The question is whether we - like a young girl in Nazareth, like countless others through the ages - will have the courage to say: 'Here am I. Let it be with me according to your Spirit.'"
